Help me find my cousin

Hi. I’m Elias. I have a psychokinetic ability for a year now. I don’t know how or why I got it. I can see “things” for a couple of seconds when I touched other people’s stuff. Straight to the point, I have a cousin, we’re at the same age. She lost her parents when she was 14 due to a car accident and she’s been living with us since. We’re so close. I love her like she’s my birth sister. Last week, I saw my cousin, Nancy--- who’s been lost for five years, when I came to her room and accidentally touched her favorite hairpin. In her vision, she’s in the middle of a forest. But the vision is blurred. I don’t know why. That’s unusual. I’ve never seen a blurred vision before. That’s it. I don’t know anything anymore. My ability hasn’t been back since.

There’s nothing wrong with my cousin’s room. It’s like how she left it. But I remember smelling something unusual when I came into her room 5 years ago. It’s kinda familiar, but I don’t know what it is.

Before she’s missing, her neighbors saw her walking around the neighborhood, maybe searching and waiting for someone. That happened for about a week. She’s been hanging out with her old friend too, a friend before she moved into my house. Her name’s Sara. I know her because I often went to Nancy’s house when I was little and played with her too. Nancy promised Sara to go somewhere together that day, but when Sara came to her house, she’s already gone. She didn’t bring her phone, her room was still messy, and her radio is on; playing a preach or something. Then, Sara waited 2 days for her, but she never came back. Then she called me, asking if Nancy’s here. But no, she’s not. So Sara reported this to Salem PD.

The police took part in this case, a week after Nancy’s disappearance. They stopped, 7 weeks later. My mother never allowed me to partake in that search. Too dangerous, she said. Now that my mother’s gone, I’ll search Nancy to the end of the world, since I had nothing to lose anymore and I’ll thank you all my life for helping me. Please consider my case.
